The wait is over, the new UCI approved HUP evo2 has arrived. After substantial redevelopment, the new HUP evo2 is now even lighter, with larger clearances, multiple bottle cage bosses, bigger chainrings and a UDH hanger. Only limited quantities/sizes are available initially, but more stock in all options due soon.

The all-new, all-rounder HUP evo2 is ready to smash Cyclocross Racing & Gravel Racing & Bikepacking

Through rigorous, independent SGS testing, we have been able to re-engineer the triple-butted 7005 series tubes, 8 of the 11 tubes are new, reducing weight. Along with the new Brushed Aluminium finish, that reduction in weight ranges from between 100g and 250g, depending on size. Frame weights to make High Street brands blush, when comparing their carbon frames…but at half the price.

We’ve kept the same, highly successful race geometry as the original HUP evo. It works, it wins, so we kept it. This means you can continue to race Cyclocross, Road, Triathlon - but now, Gravel too. By increasing mud clearances, Gravel in Summer, CX in Winter with just a change of tyres is real. Big mud clearances on 33c, or space for 50mm gravel tyres using the dedicated Gravel fork.

Even with its race geometry, you can still build your bike for more relaxed, Gravel focused adventures, thanks to our new Gravel adventure fork with luggage bosses and larger clearances. We also have gravel bars, high rise headset caps and a huge choice of crankset/gearing options.

With re-designed chainstays, we’ve managed to increase the maximum chainring size to 50T on a single chaining or a 50/34 on a double chainset. Big enough for anything from Road, CX or Gravel racing, 1x or 2x format. The facility to run a dropper post on 1x builds is still there too.

True CX bikes have been getting thin on the ground, so don’t confuse this with another long wheelbase gravel bike, trying to convince you it will work for CX (because they don’t). Team HUP has already spent 6 months racing and proving the new bike in Belgium, against the best cross racers in the world.

The HUP evo2 has held true to the geometry requirements of racing, chainstay lengths, wheelbase, stack & BB drop are not compromised, as they are on new generation of Gravel bikes on MTB tyres.

We’ve also made further improvements to our very easy internal cable, introducing port plates in place of the rubber ports. We still have full-length outer cables for maximum longevity in all conditions and our cabling continues to stay well away from your Headset, we are not going fully-integrated with a bike designed for proper CX racing. Same reliable, creak-free 68mm BSA BB too.

The new evo2 comes in 8 sizes (37cm to 58cm) for riders approx 120cm to 188cm in 4 stunning new colours including Highland Bronze, Electric Blue, Cherry Red and Brushed Aluminium with frame weights starting at just 1195g - CLICK HERE for more information...
